Welcome Kathy Cretsinger, Publisher, Mantle Rock Publishing, LLC

I met Kathy Cretsinger in a round-about way several years ago, and got to know and love her as part of my writing group, the Ken-Ten Writers, and later as my publisher. I am thrilled to have her today, and so thankful to be the author of the first Mantle Rock offering of the year with my THIRD book, Carolina Grace!!

Welcome, Kathy!

Thanks, Regina, for having me on your blog. I hope all of your readers had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. I am certainly looking forward to 2019.

We started Mantle Rock Publishing six years ago in 2012. My desire was to help new writers fulfill their dream of being published. We started with publishing my books, but as time went on people wanted us to publish theirs. We gradually started with one book, then two or three, and now in 2019 we have no empty spaces to publish another book. On fact, 2020 is beginning to fill up. That is outstanding with so few employees.

What’s coming in 2019

The new year looks bright. Our first book releases on February 5, 2019. This is the third book in the Southern Breeze Series by Regina Rudd Merrick. Her beach stories are very good, and it seems each one gets a little better. The ebook is on pre-order now, and the print version will be on pre-sale soon.

Carolina Grace is set in the Myrtle Beach, Pawley Island area. It also stars a character from the last book, and you get to visit with previous characters from the first two books. It’s a great relaxing story.

She knows about God’s grace for her life but pushes it away. He hasn’t experienced it but finds grace in a way he never expected.

First-year Special Education teacher Charly Livingston demonstrates God’s love on the outside but is resentful that God allowed back-to-back tragedies in her family.

Rance Butler is a top-notch medical intern. He’s on his way to the top, and when he meets Charly, he knows things will only get better. When he discovers family secrets and a dying father he never knew, his easy, carefree life seems to disintegrate.

Even in the idyllic ocean breezes and South Carolina sunshine, contentment turns to bitterness and confusion except for God’s amazing grace.

The remainder of the year is filled with a couple of fantasy, a couple of historical romance, some romantic comedy, and some romantic suspense. We have a full year!

I love my job, and I love helping authors get started. On Thursday, January 3, 2019, I began a weekly marketing podcast on http://mantlerockpublishingllc.com. We’ll begin by the most important thing in marketing, a good book. Writing is not easy, and no one wants to read a book with a lot of errors. Ken-Ten Writers Group

I love helping other authors. June 10-12, 2019 we will again be having our annual KenTen Writers Retreat. This year we are back again at Montgomery Bell State Park. We will have info up on our website, http://kentenwriters.org soon. We have outstanding speakers that will help both novice writers or those who have written several books. We hope you can join us.
