Merry, Merry Christmas!

I’ve started a little game on Instagram – it’s called “Where will Carolina Dream show up today?” or #WheresCarolinaDream. I’m hoping to make it a regular THING! 🙂

I hope you’re all ready for Christmas! I think I am. Really. Just a few more stops . . .

Tonight we go to the airport in Nashville to pick up my oldest, Emily, and her boyfriend, Ben, who are flying in from New York! It’s always one of the highlights of the season – well, minus the traffic getting there! I can’t wait to have my baby in my arms again, even if she IS 28!

Mantle Rock Publishing has been advertising all over the place. I hope you’ll look at what they have to offer. We’ve got some great authors, and some great inspirational reading!

Are you making cookies this weekend? Candy? Baking a turkey? We’re all over the place. Saturday the in-laws, Sunday church and home, and Christmas breakfast here, and then my parents’ with my sister and family. I can’t wait.

I’m also looking at two days left, after today, of my life as a library director! It’s been a great 13 years, and I’ll miss my library peeps, but I know I can walk right down the street when I need a “fix.” My goal is to get more books out, and more quickly. So far my most-asked question is, “when is the next one coming out?”
