I can’t believe it’s the middle of November. I know, I haven’t posted in MONTHS. The leaves that were at their peak JUST LAST WEEK are almost all on the ground, now.
What have I been up to?
The first half of the year, writing! Rebuilding Joy, Book 2 in the RenoVations Series, was released in June. Then I was involved in the novella collection, Candy Cane Wishes and Saltwater Dreams, which was released in September! “Mr. Sandman” connects to my Southern Breeze series that takes place in and around Pawleys Island, SC!
The second half of the year has been spent in caregiving as both my parents have entered a nursing home and both in-laws, assisted living, within weeks of one another. It’s been hard, and it’s definitely taken my mind off writing except to continually think, “I need to be writing!” Things were beginning to ease into a routine when we unexpectedly sold our house and are buying another! Yikes!
What’s next? Mostly clearing out stuff to move, but in between, I’m writing another novella for a 2022 collection where each story takes place in a particular season – mine is Spring, and this story is set in Kentucky and isn’t connected to any of my books. It’s currently untitled, so pray for me as I finish it up!
