Happy Writer Wednesday!
Today I’ve made room on my blog schedule to tell you about the Christmas novella collection I’m a part of with Mosaic!
And be sure to comment for a chance to win a PDF of my Christmas novella from last year, “RenoVating Christmas,” which introduces the characters in my RenoVations Series!
Titled A Star Will Rise, this is Mosaic’s second Christmas collection, and includes stories from seven of our authors!
My story, “Twelve Days of Mandy Reno” is in my RenoVations Series world, and introduces you to Lisa and Del’s cousin, Amanda Lou Reno. Here’s the blurb for this story!
Law student Amanda Reno is stuck at her grandparents’ house in her tiny hometown of Clementville, Kentucky, studying virtually and working part-time at the local diner due to a global pandemic. When she realizes that her parents, on a mission trip to Brazil, are unable to get home for Christmas for the same reason, Mandy’s expectations of what might be her last Christmas “at home” are ruined. Young Sheriff Clay Lacey attempts to make it up to Mandy – but will she see it for the gift it is, or run for the hills when she realizes who is behind twelve days of surprises?
Here are the other stories – I can’t WAIT to read them!
- “A Christmas Homecoming” (a Coming Home Series short story) by Brenda S. Anderson
- “Love and Unexpected Stress Responses” by Eleanor Bertin
- “Sixty Feet to Home” by Sara Davison
- “The Twelve Days of Mandy Reno” (RenoVations Series 1.5) by Regina Rudd Merrick
- “Returning to Christmas” by Angela D. Meyer
- “One Christmas Wish” by Marion Ueckermann
- “A Garland of Grace” by Candace West
I know these stories will put me in the mood for Christmas! And the best part? It’s on pre-order the e-book for only NINETY-NINE CENTS!!
You can pre-order it HERE!
If you follow Mosaic Collection Readers’ Group on Facebook (if you don’t, please do, HERE!), you can see how excited we are about this collection. It will bless your heart, and will make a great Christmas gift, as well.
Next week I welcome friend and fellow Scrivenings Press author Suzanne Bratcher, and will tell you about her current release, which is a little different from her other books. I can’t wait to tell you about it!
If you haven’t subscribed to my newsletter, please do – I only send things out quarterly unless there is something special like a book release or an event where I’ll be available to meet my readers.
There are two areas to sign up on the front page of my website – Right under the banner, there is “Join Regina’s Email Community” where you’ll be signing up for the newsletter, and at the bottom, “Get Blog Updates Via Email,” where you’ll get a notification when I publish a blog post! I hope you’ll sign up for BOTH!
Thanks so much for reading today, and don’t forget to comment! I hope you like Mandy Reno’s story as much as I enjoyed writing it – now on to DEL’S story, coming next June – but due March 1! Yikes! Better get to writing!
